Our Trip To Disneyland Paris.

Hello there everyone!
Long time no blog!! So sorry it's been such a while.
I had a laptop crisis and then it was my 21st birthday celebrations which were AMAZING, but have now sadly ended :(.

My birthday was lovely and Joe and everyone else spoilt me rotten. He'd got me tickets to see Jake Bugg who i adore, some Tom Ford sunglasses and, a limited edition signed copy of my favourite album from my favourite band!
(Courteeners - St Jude btw)

To top off all the celebrations me and joe went to Disneyland Paris!!

Honestly, we both loved it so much! Like, unless you've been lucky enough to go to Disneyland you'll know what I mean when I say, you literally cannot put into words how incredible it is! I've been before when I was a lot younger and looking back, I don't think I fully appreciated it that much.

It was also Joe's first time going to Disney and for me, to see the constant massive smile on his face was the best feeling for me!

We've only just got back and already looking at booking to go back for longer next year and we're so excited to go back.

I'll leave you all with some cute pictures I took of everything whist there :)

Why I'm Taking Time Away From Blogging.

Hi everyone!

So, this post Isn't one that's easy for me to do in all honesty. I somehow feel however that I've got to justify myself..

Basically, I've decided it's time to take a little time away from blogging. Lets be honest, I have been massively slacking with it due to the hectic schedule that I've had recently.

As some of you may know, I'm currently studying at college and I have so much work to try and get done it's honestly crazy and literally every waking moment I get I'm spending it doing assignments and research and trying to get on top of it all, which can I just say at the moment is IMPOSSIBLE. Seriously.

On top of all that, I have events coming up like my birthday next week and then Disney land Paris and everything else and in all honesty, I don't particularly want to spend my nights back in the hotel blogging. I just feel like it would take a bit of the shine off me being there which I know may seem bad or crazy but it's the truth.
Don't get me wrong, I will share my experience I had whilst there but it will be once I'm back and got myself a little more sorted out.

Lastly, blogging is going to be something I will be finding a little difficult because.... Last night my laptop of a year decided to break. Well, not necessarily break BUT if any of you that follow me on twitter, last night you might have seen My little tantrum I was having over Google Chrome not working on my windows 8 laptop.
As it turns out, I needed to update it to windows 10 but I couldn't because the internal memory on it wasn't enough.
My laptop is like an iPhone. If you don't have any storage for updates, theres not much more you can do. So, I will be looking to buy a new laptop at somepoint in the very near future but until then, it may be the very rare occasion that I get the chance to borrow the family laptop.

I am so sorry but it won't be for long I promise. It is only temporary.

I will be posting regular updates from Disney and everything else on Instagram, twitter and maybe even snapchat so If you want to check me out on any of those please do feel free to do so :)

Our Little Trip To Liverpool.

Well, hello there everyone!
So, sorry for the lack of posts recently, I've been so, so busy! I've had quite a jam packed weekend\week and it's still not over yet!!

I may have mentioned it a few times previously but at the weekend it was my lovely boyfriend's birthday so, me and his family all celebrated it by going for food at Reds True Barbecue, and can I just say, If you've not been to one yet... You definitely should!! The food is unreal.
Anyway, as another part of his birthday celebrations we'd got tickets to go and see Noel Gallagher (who I love btw) in Liverpool. So, it made sense to make the most of it and spend a few days there.

First things first, the Noel Gallagher gig was UNREAL. Like, seriously. I can't even put it into words how surreal it was being there. We were lucky enough to spot a gap on the barrier right at the front. It was slightly to the other side of the stage but honestly, we were still so close and saw literally everything.
Anyone that is a fan of Oasis, I'm sure you want the same thing as me and many others and that is, Oasis to get back together, surely?!
It's something that I see people crying out for constantly on Twitter and Facebook and lets be honest, it would be unreal.
Noel addressed this topic Monday night by with a subtle "This is for all you Oasis fans"  which he dedicated You Know We Can't Go Back - a track from his latest album Chasing Yesterday.
Which was then followed up by a classic Oasis track Champagne Supernova. I mean come on, how could you not get emotional?!

This is just how close we got to him!

On our second and final full day in Liverpool, we both went on a Magical Mystery Tour.
Basically a Rainbow coach that goes to the most iconic places in Liverpool all Beatles related.
Now, from being a little girl and having to do a primary school project on them whilst in year 4 or 5, I've been a fan of them and their music.
So, being in the hometown of Paul, John, George and Ringo, it only made sense to see where the Beatles story all began.
It was a two hour tour journey and we saw the likes of Penny Lane, Strawberry fields, the houses in which they grew up in and the venues they played when they first started out as a band, as well as the old schools they all went to.
I knew it would be really good, but I didn't expect it to be as good!
I definitely recommend that if you're in Liverpool visiting, it's well worth going on. If you're a fan of The Beatles or not.

Here are some pictures of everything we saw on the trip!

All in all we had a lovely few days away and doing something different.
Now onto Disney Land Paris for my 21st in a few weeks time.
Excited!

What's In My Bag!

Okay, so I'll hold my hands up and admit, I am an absolute nightmare for changing my bags and the contents of them.
So, here's what I've been carrying around with me for the past few weeks.

handbag - So, I was in the mindset that I needed a new bag because as much as I love my Michael Kors one, it's too nice and special to be using on a daily basis and going to and from work with. So whilst shopping I found this beaut in New Look and felt like I needed it as soon as i saw it. It's the perfect size and was only £20 too so it's a bargain really.

Purse  - I used to LOVE the huge River Island purses, but I found they were really heavy. However I love this style of purse.

Toffee Popcorn - Lately, toffee popcorn has been my addiction. Like, I can't get through a Game of Thrones night with my boyfriend without having a bag of popcorn to work my way through. I know its really bad but I can't help it.

Lipstick : MAC Velvet Teddy - This lipstick is my absolute FAVOURITE! I can't go anywhere without popping it into my bag, I think it looks perfect with whatever makeup look I go for and whatever outfit I wear.

Hollister body mist - These are something that are quite new to me. I'm used to buying Victoria's secret, which don't get me wrong I do love them BUT I can't help but feel like they're slightly overpriced. A friend told me Hollister do ones that are just as nice, but a bit friendlier on a part time working students purse. Perfect. When I got them they were buy 2 get 2 free so instead of paying like £44 for 4 I paid half the price for 4 and they last ages! They're alot fresher and summery which is ideal for this warm weather. Definitely worth seeing what they have in :).

And that's it for this months what's in my bag thats new! x

I Finally Have A YouTube Channel!

Hi everyone!!
Today's post isn't the normal kind of post that I'd usually do, but who wants everything to be normal all the time?

So, I think I should tell you.
For a while now I've been desperately wanting to set up my own YouTube channel and do the odd Vlog for you guys as well as doing blog posts all the time.
I've been putting it off for so long because I've not been happy with the way I look and everything, but I've decided that I'm not going to let that affect me as much, I am what I am.

I feel like now is the right time to do that, not only because I feel confident enough to, but also because In the next month I will be making some amazing memories that I want to share with everyone!

Coming up in the next month me and my boyfriend have his birthday to celebrate, then we're going to away to Liverpool for a few days, Then it's my 21st birthday and a few days after that we're going off to Disney Land Paris! Which is so, so exciting.

As nervous as I am for the uploading of my first ever video, I'm also really excited at the same time and can't wait to see what happens after.

I would love and appreciate it so much if you guys subscribed to my channel which is

I hope to see you all over there!
If you have your own Channel, please do comment it below and I will make sure to subscribe :)

Being an awkward person.

Being not just socially awkward, but just being an awkward person in General isn't the most pleasant.

I've always been the same from being a young child to now. As a young child, I didn't really know what was happening and what to do about it. For instance, I'd try after school clubs and stuff but every time I tried to interact with another child of my age, they'd ignore me and run away laughing. I started to worry and think it was something that was wrong with me personally and it really, really shattered my bit of self-confidence I had. Then I suffered years of torment and bullying going through junior and senior school, which didn't help also.

When in senior school I did try and come into myself a little more and gained a few close friends, but with all that, as well as great memories came moments that I wished I never initially made friends in the first place.

From leaving school and sixth form, making friends and generally putting myself out there is something I began to struggle with and still do to this day. An example of this, me and my boyfriend have been together almost 8 months now, and almost if not every weekend we see his family and friends and only now, nearly 8 months later, I'm only starting to feel like I can be myself around them and not feel like I have to stand in the corner quiet and not get as involved with everything.

When contemplating setting up a blog it was something I had major anxiety about, the thought of putting myself out there on to the internet for all the  to see if they stumbled upon my tiny little corner of it was and still is frightening for me.

Ultimately, one day I would love to get myself in the blogging community and make friends via social media and even just get myself out there a lot more and maybe even help people that go through the same thing as what I do every day.

I would just like to say, thank you so much for coming over to my blog and reading this post. It's one I've wanted to do for a while but never really had the courage to. It honestly does mean a lot that you've taken the time to read this post :) x

Haircare Routine.

This is a post that I've been wanting to do for a while now. For years I've struggled finding the perfect products and routine for my hair. Which, if you're reading this you're probably thinking "surely she's joking?" I promise you, I'm not.
My hair is so, so fine but luckily for me I have a lot. Apparently that's what works in my favour.
I was also, never in the routine of getting it cut, it was one of them one time luxury things which I've not learnt it THE worst thing to do.

To most of you reading (or all) The stuff I'll put in this post might be common knowledge, but I've learnt this common knowledge the hard way.

The first thing I did was find a salon that did my hair exactly as I wanted and get into the routine of going there to get my hair cut every 6 weeks. After 2 appointments I noticed an instant change. After every cut it felt much healthier. I soon discovered it was the struggle of trying to style my hair like they did.

After searching endlessly and trying numerous products, I finally found the shampoo and conditioner that did exactly what it says on the bottle and does what I want it to do.

It was the Loreal Elvive Fibrology Thickening shampoo and conditioner. Honestly It's amazing.
The tangle teezer is also a perfect product. I find because my hair is so fine, no matter how many times in a day I brush my hair, it still get's obscenely knotted. Its a nightmare.
The tangle teezer just glides straight through the knots. I'd be honestly pulling my hair out if it wasn't for this!

The first step of my routine is brushing through my hair. I've found if I brush through my hair right before stepping into the shower, it washes so much easier. It also dries in a way that's a lot more maintainable after and not just like a massive frizz ball.

The second thing I do, it condition straight away, this is purely because it gets rid of any knots that I've missed before or something.

Thirdly I shampoo. The only downfall I have with this shampoo is it leaves a really straw like feel on my hair, that's not because I've conditioned before it does it when I haven't too. I don't fully understand why that is, but it honestly still works a trick on my hair.

Lastly, I put more conditioner through it to give it the softer feel and healthier look.

All in all, I've found this routine to be the best for me. It looks and feels so healthy and a lot thicker than it did before I started the whole process.

Easter Weekend Antics.

If there's one thing I love about Easter, it's that it's a bank holiday. That means, a 4 day weekend from work, I mean, what could be better than that? Also, I love that it's acceptable to eat chocolate for breakfast on Easter Sunday.

This Easter I got quite a few chocolatey treats that I didn't expect to receive at all. But I love them.

It was also mine and my boyfriends first Easter spent together. (cute right?)

I basically lived at his family home with him for the whole 4 days of the weekend. Now, that's not too different because I spend every single weekend there, but it was the first Easter bank holiday that I'd not spent at home with my own family. Not that we do anything during it anyway, but still, was odd not being at home.

On the Thursday night we had a quite chilled night, went for food and bought each other an egg, was so cute although I don't exactly know why.

Friday I worked and did some overtime because in all honesty, I needed the money. I don't know what we did on Friday night but I feel like saying it was just another quiet chilled one in.

Saturday my boyfriend went out with all his mates to the local pub and I stayed in his bed for the whole day and fed my Pretty Little Liars obsession. I've started watching it from the beginning again and I am absolutely loving it!
After wasting a few hours of my day watching it, I eventually dragged myself from his bed and got ready to go and meet him down at the pub. We ended up staying in there and watching the England match and then the Kell Brook fight was on and we couldn't miss that! Especially with Kell Brook being a fellow Sheffielder. I really enjoyed myself on Saturday night having a drink and stuff. Was great to do something simple but different.

Sunday, was definitely a quiet one in. We've spent most of our weekends recently watching Game of Thrones. It's another obsession of mine that I wanted to get my boyfriend involved with and can I just say, he is also now hooked. We've just started season 4 and we now have less than a month to watch the rest of 4 and the whole of season 5 before 6 starts the day after we see Noel Gallagher in Liverpool so the pressure is slightly on for us.

That's all my weekend consisted of really, which to some people my age it would seem pretty boring but to me, it was so perfect.
I'm not one of those for going out and drinking loads all the time and stuff.
Leaving my boyfriend however was incredibly hard. It's hard every weekend when I leave him but it's just getting harder and harder every time.

Did you have a nice Easter weekend and did you get plenty of chocolate treats?

Current Make Up Favourites.

Quite recently, I've been LOVING make up and almost every little bit of money I have I've spent on what make up products I can.
It's becoming a slight addiction for me.

These products I've been Addicted to lately and I cannot get enough of them!

1. Spectrum brushes ; siren collection - I'm lucky enough to have THE best boyfriend in the world and he bought me these for valentines day. I love them so, so much. They're honestly the best brushes I've ever had. I feel like I need to buy even more.

2. Make up revolution contour kit - I recently found a revolution Contour kit that I didn't even know I had. I am currently Learning how to contour but omg seriously, how annoying is it?! In all fairness though I was exactly the same with winged eyeliner, but practice makes perfect.

3. MAC Velvet Teddy - I cannot even tell you how long it took me to get this! In my home city of Sheffield, the MAC store that we have is really small so stock is very limited. I heard from a friend that It was in store and dragged my boyfriend down to the local shopping centre with me and got the last one they had! I love it so much and can honestly see why so many people also love it! Definitely worth a purchase.

4. Boots No7 foundation - THIS IS AN ACTUAL GODSEND. Seriously. This has been my go to foundation for the past 3 years now and I love it! I use it every day and it lasts me a good month or two. It's super cheap and the coverage is amazing. I don't buy other foundations because 1 I love this one and 2 its the only one I can find that is perfect for my olive skin. If you pop into your local boots store and head over to their stand, a member of staff will give you a colour match and it will find the perfect shade for your skin! It's well worth it.

That's it for my current make up favourites. What are you loving at the moment?

Liz Earle skincare routine.

Does anyone else get those periods of time where your skin looks absolutely amazing and you barely have to maintain it, but suddenly out of nowhere you break out really bad. Usually for me it's when it comes to that certain time of month we all love to hate. You know what I mean.

I had a skincare routine that was AMAZING and it worked so, so well. But, I annoyingly ran out of the main product and in all honesty, at the time I couldn't really afford to purchase more.
I kept up with the routine despite not having the product I needed and found it wasn't really working, what I expected to gain from continuing I don't know but they say you don't know unless you try.
One thing with my skin that I did notice however was, the more water I drank throughout the day, the more my skin cleared up and took less maintaining.
Me being me though, I got bored of drinking water and even more so that I knew I had to. (I have no idea how my mind works sometimes).

Whilst searching endlessly on the internet for alternative skin care routines to try, a name that I saw a lot more than others was Liz Earle. Now, I have heard a lot of amazing reviews, not only online but also from friends and work colleagues. They've recommended it to me so many times and so many times I've considered purchasing some BUT I think what put me off a little was price of it.
This month I got paid a little more than I had originally expected which was a nice surprise and I thought "you know what, I'm going to buy myself some Liz Earle" because, why not?
The staff that worked on the stand in the Boots store in my local shopping centre were so helpful and gave me so much advice! They advised that as it was my first time trying product I would be better off buying the starter kit they do.

In the starter kit you get mini samples of the following products  :
1 x Intensive nourishing treatment mask.
1 x Instant boost skin tonic.
1 x Skin repair moisturiser. Dry/sensitive.
1 x Cleanse and polish Hot cloth cleanser.
2 x Muslin cloth.

The starter kit only came in at an amazing £26 too which isn't too bad at all. Honestly in the 3 days that I've been using it morning and night I've noticed a HUGE difference in my skin and it's definitely worth trying!
And as for the price, it's that old saying "You get what you pay for"

Fresh New Look.

So, apparently today is the official first day of spring and can I just say what lovely weather it was today too? It was lovely in Sheffield where I live. Now, I haven't done this post to speak about the weather.

Now, surely we've all heard the saying "spring cleaning" right? Well this time, I've not only given my bedroom and wardrobe a spring clean, but also my blog.
In all honesty I think the changing up of and cleaning my blog is something that was long overdue.
For a long time now I've not been 100% happy with. Finally though I've taken the plunge and got myself a new template from Etsy and modernised it a bit more.
I might have said all this before but honestly, this is all something that I feel like is still very new to me and I'm still in the process of getting myself out there on Twitter and Instagram but it's honestly one of THE hardest things to do. It's such a long process and will be definitely worth it.

I think the problem is I've been trying to compare my blog to others that I see when searching through the internet. I don't yet feel like mine is up to their standard but then maybe that's just me being hard on myself. I do however feel a lot better for it having a completely new look.

Hopefully you guys all like the new look of my blog too!

Glossybox Unboxing and First impressions.

Hello all, and welcome to my first ever post like this, how exciting?! (Probably not very but you know what I mean).

Glossybox and monthly beauty subscriptions are something that I am very new to. I've been wanting one for a while and after doing some pretty extensive research I soon discovered that Glossybox was the best out there and went for it.

So, the first box I received was a starter kit and omg, the excitement I got from it was unreal.

1. Wilkinson Sword shaver - £6.99 ; I wish I could say something about this but the truth is, I can't I have misplaced it somewhere and have no idea where it's gone. It looks really good though and I'm hoping I can find it soon and try it out.

2. The vintage cosmetic company tweezers - £8.00 ; When I saw that I got these in my box I was legit so happy. I've had my beady little eyes on them for a while now, like every time I go into Boots for new make up I find myself gravitating towards these but never bought them for some reason. So to now have some I'm happy.

3. Royal Apothic Lip Tinties -£14 ; In all honesty, this is something that I've not really seen anything of, as soon as I put a picture of it on Instagram though my friend text me how jealous she was that I had one. My first impressions of it are, I really like it. It's really small and pretty and the lid is rose gold, which I just love.

4. Naobay protective hair mask volume conditioner - £10.64 ;
This is honestly the product I think I'm most anxious to use. That's purely because 1. I've never used a hair mask and 2. I'm very set in my ways with my hair care routine, my hair is so fine that any slight change or adjustment to it, it doesn't like for a while. I know, it's weird. However, I will use it to try and see what it's like :).

5. Nicka K New York 24 hour waterproof eye liner - £3.99 ;
Eye liner is something I've only just at the age of 20, almost 21! Just come to terms with and got the hang of using. Admitedly my winged eyeliner isn't all it should be yet, but with practice I will get there with it. I cannot wait to try it out with this eye liner!

Glossybox March Edition.

1. Luxie rose gold large angled face brush - £10.42 ;
My first impression when I saw this brush was omg I love it. I can't wait to use it and hopefully buy more from the range.

2. Olay Regenerist luminous skin tone perfecting cream - full size £29.99 ;
I am forever trying new facial care products and this is one that I'm really excited to use and see what it will do for my skin.

3. 417 catharsis vitamin mineral shampoo and conditioner - full size £16.98 each ;
This is actually the first product that I've used and honestly, I wasn't too sure about it. it will be featured in blog coming soon that is my hair care routine. So make sure to keep a look out for it!

4. Hey Honey good morning honey silk facial serum - full size £28.81 ;
Can I just start this off by saying this smells gorgeous!! This is another facial product that I'm very excited to use. On the back of the packaging for it, it actually says its perfect to wear under make up like a primer and makes your skin look glowing all day long.

5. So Susan light diffuser  - £14.00
This is another item from the box that I am yet to try BUT first impressions are that it's really cute and smells so much like chocolate. The shades are gorgeous too. I'll try this tonight and let all you lovely's know what I think of it if you're interested :).

And sadly, that is all for this post, I really hope you all enjoyed it and would like to see more please do let me know in the comments or on any social media :)

21st Birthday Wishlist.

I know my 21st Birthday may be only like 9 weeks away but I can't help but feel like it's quickly creeping up on me and I am not at all yet prepared for it.

The other night whilst out with my boyfriend and his family, I was talking to his sister and she asked what I'd like for my birthday and honestly I had absolutely no idea. She very cleverly came up with the idea of me doing a wishlist, that way I could think about what gifts I would actually like and I could share it with you guys.
So, here it is!

I think I did a Christmas wishlist post so some of the stuff might be on both.

1. Marc Jacob Rose Gold Watch - For Christmas I got a Rose gold one and honestly I LOVE IT. It was such an unexpected gift from my parents.

2. Urban Decay Naked Pallet Vault - I have recently found out that Meadowhall (my local shopping centre) actually have this in store and it's breaking my heart a little because, I have no money to buy it myself.

3. Michael Kors handbag - My very lovely boyfriend also got me a beautiful Michael Kors handbag for Christmas and I honestly love it so much, I had my eye on two in particular and he got me one of the ones I'd looked at and the other one is the one featured on here now.

4. Pink Pretty Green Polo Shirt - Pretty Green is without a doubt one of my favourite brands! I think it also helps a little that I appreciate the indie scene it's slightly connected to, and I'm a HUGE fan of oasis. Noel obviously being my fave, even if Pretty Green is Liam's brand. Awkward.

5. King Charles Spaniel Pup - If you didn't already know because I've not mentioned it, Lady and the Tramp is my favourite film in the whole entire world. So, it only seems fitting that I have a cute little pup like Lady. When I eventually get one, it'll be a girl, she will be called lady, and I will get her a blue collar. Pretty sad that I've already planned it out right?

Well, they're the only gifts I could think of for now! If I think of anything else, chances are I'll do another wishlist post in the next 9 weeks!

Tuesday 23 February 2016

Upcoming Events.

I think it would be more than fair to say the first half of this year is going to be more than hectic.
My boyfriend and I have so many amazing things lined up that I cannot wait for them. Of course, I will be sharing them all on my blog with all you lovely readers also :).

April.
The Last Shadow Puppets gig - OMG. I CANNOT BELIEVE I'M SEEING THESE. When my boyfriend text me to say he'd managed to get tickets I sat at my desk and cried tears of happiness.

Noel Gallagher - I've always been a fan of Oasis, and of course Noel has and will always be my favourite of the pair. The gig is also 2 days after my boyfriends birthday and he's a massive Oasis fan too, so this was a no brainer really.

Milburn - Since being a very early teen and of course a Sheffield lass, I've loved Milburn. I remember they did a gig at a local venue called Leadmill and they supported Arctic Monkeys alongside Reverend & The Makers (who I also love) and my best friend had tickets to go, he was in the year above me and so obviously older, sadly I was too young to go and unfortunately ended up with me having to miss out. Luckily though, I'm going twice to see them, including the last night of their shows.

May.
My 21st Birthday - In all honesty, I'm dreading turning 21 but so excited for all the birthday celebrations I will be having with the people I love the most.

Busted - I am also mega excited to see Busted!! It'll be my second time seeing them as I went when I was younger, my dad took me to see them bless him haha! This time I'm going with my boyfriends two sisters and It's going to be so good!

DISNEYLAND PARIS - I've put this into big letters to emphasise the excitement I have to be going. My boyfriend and parents surprised me with a trip to Disneyland Paris for my 21st birthday and I seriously cannot wait.

June.
The Stone Roses - Getting tickets to see The Stone Roses was also another one of those times that I cried with happiness. I had previously had the opportunity to see them a few years back at Heaton Park but sadly had to give up my ticket due to sixth form placement. This time, I won't be giving my ticket up for anyone or anything.

Feeling Good About Myself.

Talk about long time no blog!! Well, I say that, but... it has only been a week although, I feel like in the blogging world a week off is a long time!

In the week that I've had away from doing any blogs I've had time to think about things.

So, I've never been 100% happy with my appearance in all honesty. One of the nights last week I was removing my make up as I do every night and I came to the realisation of how unhappy I actually am. I looked at myself in the mirror and despised the way that I looked and still do look. It was the worst feeling in the world and didn't know what else to do other than break down and cry.
This was when I knew I had to do something about it. The way I looked wasn't anyone else's fault but my own. I'd let my hair get into such a mess, I'd let my skin get into such bad condition and so on. There was no one else to blame other than myself.

Thursday night I'd made plans to go out with my boyfriend and thought, you know what, I'm going to try and put some effort into making myself look nice.

Seriously, I was surprised how quick it was for me to shower, do my hair completely and do a half decent job of my hair, an hour it took me if we're going to be all precise about things.

This was the end look.

My boyfriend kept commenting about how pretty and different I looked, my family loved it and said I looked like a completely different person.
I posted that same selfie on all personal social media and blogging social media and I got such lovely comments from everyone and without wanting to sound big headed, It made me feel so so good about myself.

I don't receive compliments all that often and on the odd occasion that I do, I fail to accept them off people. That's just how I've always been.

Now, I would like to say that the initial intention of this post wasn't so I could throw a little pitty party for myself because no. That's not the kind of person I am.

All I'm saying that is, I've not been happy with my appearance for a while and now, I finally am and it's all from not being a lazy so and so and actually taking an hour or less to make myself more presentable.

Might not seem a lot, but it is.

Our First Valentines Day.

First of all, Happy Valentines day all!

Today, was mine and my boyfriends first valentines day together and I can safely say it was so lovely and I got spoilt.

We didn't really do much other than go to the local pub for some food and watch a game of football, which I know to some people might not seem all that romantic but I don't really like to make such a fuss when it comes to Valentines. Obviously I'm going to buy a card and present but just feel like we could go for a nice meal somewhere at any time. We're currently ending it with plenty of sweets and season 2 of Game of Thrones which is perfect.

For valentines my boyfriend got me the Spectrum Siren brushes he knows I've been wanting for absolutely AGES. I was on a personal mission to try and get some before my 21st Birthday in May but now I don't think I need to.

My card was also THE cutest thing ever!! Anyone that knows me, will know I adore Lady and the Tramp. It's been the film that I've always loved from being a young baby to now nearly 21 years later, and of course I love anything to do with it, so he somehow managed to find me a personalised Lady and the Tramp valentines day card.

Guys, I legit cried when I opened it. I really am so lucky.

I hope you all had a lovely day whatever you did and got some lovely gifts too.

Just What I Needed.

Those of you that follow me on twitter you may know that for the past week or so, I've been really, really Ill.
Basically I have some sort of infection, which one I'm not sure but it's so uncomfortable. I was put on some antibiotics but they did nothing but make me feel even worse. I struggled to keep food down and yeah, it wasn't pretty.

Because I'm ill and have been for a week, I feel like all I needed was just an hour or so with my boyfriend to take my mind off the illness.

So, on Wednesday I was feeling not 100% better but a bit better than I had previously and could leave the house without any worry of being sick or something. He came and picked me up with some food and we headed off into town for an hour whilst he got his hair cut. Which looks really good I may add.
After that we went off to Meadowhall to get some more stuff and went to a little hidden cafe in House of Fraser.

OH MY GOD. The Victoria sponge cake in there is AMAZING. Sadly though I started to feel a bit off and couldn't finish it. I will definitely be going back for a slice when I am better though.

We didn't do much but it was so nice to see him and get my mind off this illness. It was honestly just what I needed.

Update on illness - I am still very much ill however I've started new antibiotics and hoping they work because we have a weekend planned together.

What's in my Michael Kors bag.

Hi everyone!
Today, I've decided to do something I've wanted to do for a while but not really had the time, with work, college and having some sort of social life.
So, today I am doing a What's in my Michael Kors bag.

I got my bag for Christmas off my amazing boyfriend and when he gave it me I literally couldn't do anything other than cry (with tears of happiness of course). To some people it may not be much but to me it's honestly everything it's all I wanted and I love it so much!

Because it's so special and cost a lot of money I'm trying to only use it for like when we both go out for dinner or something or special occasions. Another thing I'm trying to do is keep the contents in it at a minimum.
One thing I'm really bad at is having a bag I love, over using it and over filling it and then after a few months it snaps or breaks and it's pretty heartbreaking. Well, I think it is anyway. So, here it is.

Victoria's Secret - Aqua Mist.
This is my least favourite of all Victoria's secret body sprays that I own. When I bought it I think I just got overly excited and just bought it. I'm not saying at all it smells horrible because it really doesn't, its just not one of my top 5 faves.

MAC Velvet Teddy and Milan Mode Lipstick.
OH MY GOD. These lipsticks are legit my life. I love them both so so much. They go everywhere with me. Yeah, I just love them.

Apple Earphones.
My Apple earphones are such a massive essential for me in my bag. I love music so much and listen to it everyday. Also, there is absolutely nothing worse than being on public transport and someone arguing or something and it sounding like you're watching an episode of Jeremy Kyle. Nope, that's not for me thank you very much.

Ted Baker Purse.
When my boyfriend bought my bag, he also bought me this cute and pretty Ted Baker purse. It's quite small but it's an ideal small, like I used to have really big purses that weigh my bag down and really there's no need to have them that size. This purse is perfect and fits everything I need inside it.

Floral plastic case.
The floral case is actually a card case, so in there I have all my shop beauty cards so theres ones like my Boots one and Superdrug one and I think it's a really good idea to carry one around. I think it was like £1 too so can't really go wrong with it.

Soap and Glory hand gel and Neutrogena Hand moisturiser.
These two also go everywhere with me. When I was in college I worked at a Nursery and obviously there washing hands was a massive thing to do to cut out the risk of passing on germs. After every sneeze and cough washing my hands literally became habit and now I can't not do it I feel so dirty if I don't. So yeah, they go everywhere I go.

That's it now for what's in my Michael Kors bag.
