New Years Eve Outfit Stress.

OH MY GOD, THIS IS AN EMERGENCY. Well, maybe not too much of an emergency but I really need your amazing help on deciding which footwear will go best with my new years eve outfit!!

So, whilst doing a bit of Christmas shopping a few weeks ago in Meadowhall, I stumbled across this absolute beauty in Quiz. I knew I needed it from the second I saw it in all honesty. It's so nice and different, Instantly the thought of going out at new year and wanting to wear it is what came to mind.
It should have cost me £17.99 but thanks to having student discount it was £15.50. Which admittedly is not much of a saving, but it's better than nothing I suppose.

The next problem I faced was what to wear it with, also in Quiz me and my mum spotted some leather look high waisted trousers and I had all intentions of buying them, but when I went back with my boyfriend a few days later to get them, he decided against the idea and suggested with my top being navy and white, the black leather look trousers wouldn't really match perfectly. So, that then sent me on a mission. Until yesterday.

Yesterday whilst doing MORE shopping, I went in to one of my favourite shops that is H&M. They have a really good sale on at the minute and saw so much stuff I loved, but the goal and purpose was to find the perfect skirt or trousers. I did exactly that.
Sadly I don't have a picture of it, but it was a short pencil skirt in the exact same colour white and the same material as what my top is.

The only problem I'm facing now is, I have absolutely no idea what shoes I can pair it up with.
I suggested some nice plain black stilettos and a plain black bag, but with the outfit being navy and white, I'm not sure.

Guys, Please can you help me?! I'm so stuck :(
Thank you so much!!

A Look Back At 2015.

Now, I feel like it may be slightly cliché to say this, but in all seriousness, what a roller coaster of a year 2015 has been for me.
I'm doing this post tonight because I'm really busy from now until next year so here it is...

My year began in the worst possible way. So, In January, My partner of a year and half left me and ended the relationship and as much as it hurt like mad at the time, I got through it and honestly, the breakup from him made me the person that I am today.
The breakup had a knock on affect on everyone around me, but they were all so amazing and supported me in the best way possible.

Also, last year, I was part way through my GCSE English Re-Take, It wasn't something I struggled with really, I enjoyed English when in school and came agonisingly close to getting that C grade to pass, 1 mark both times I tried to be exact. I knew I needed to do something though so this was my last time to try and get what I needed to, With everything that had happened earlier on in the year I was struggling a little, but come taking my exam I received the news that on results day, I had got that C!! I don't want to seem big headed for saying this but I've never felt more pride in myself than that moment.

End of June was when things changed for me A LOT. I met my now boyfriend and honestly, that was the part where I began to feel more myself and truly happy. We dated for a few weeks and went out like twice a week and saw each other a fair bit, until we both mutually decided we're happy and lets just get together.

I then started my Health and social care level 3 course at college and made my mind up that it's Midwifery that I want to do, so now that's what I'm working towards.

It's definitely hard to juggle a part time job, a full time college course, seeing my boyfriend and blogging but it's all about managing time better and getting it all done, being more organised.

I cannot wait to see what 2016 has in store for me. I hope you all have a great night on New Years Eve and Happy New Year!!

Down Day.

Do you ever have those days where you just don't feel yourself. The feeling is really hard to explain.
I've felt like it for a few days now and it's really bothering me because I don't like to be down like this.
That's partly why I've somewhat "abandoned" my blog. I have got posts scheduled but I literally have no motivation to do them.

Last night for instance, me and my boyfriend went out on our regular date nights that we go on, and we went Bowling. It was such a good night, I did lose terribly, but for me It was just about having a few hours to ourselves and having fun. After bowling we decided to head off to Meadowhall and did a slight bit of Christmas shopping.
The night was so nice, but towards the end I felt myself get more and more down when it came to me having to leave him. It was horrible.

But my moods not just because I miss my boyfriend. It's a mixture of so many things.

I think my main worry and concern away from personal stress like work and college, so on, is actually this blog. I am so determined to get it right and honestly, I feel like I'm failing at that. I just haven't got a clue.

I look at other bloggers and their blogs and feel like I cannot in any way compete with them. I know I might sound pretty silly but honestly, this is something that is so new to me. I'm not one of those people that puts themselves out there so this for me is something is completely new.

I honestly think I'm just having one of them times and will all wash over in a few days. At least I hope so anyway.

My 2015 in Music.

I know this is a bit early, but I am so busy from now until at least the first few days of January, and there won't be much change from now and the next few weeks.

For me music is something that I absolutely love. I do have such a varied music taste however, I do sway towards more Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian and so on, but I decided to make a Spotify playlist of all my favourite songs of 2015 that have been in the charts so I hope you enjoy.

Weekend in Manchester.

So, as some of you may know, me and my boyfriend went off to Manchester on Friday for the night to see a band I absolutely love. The Courteeners.

The original plan was to get there fairly early, drop our bags off and do a bit of shopping but instead we ended up getting there mid afternoon which worked out a lot better for us.

We headed off to Manchester mid-afternoon and As soon as we arrived, dropped our bags off and headed straight off to the Christmas Market. And can I just say, how festive and cute is it?! Like, seriously.

I can honestly say, I LOVE Manchester Christmas Market and I honestly wish I could have spent a lot longer there. There was so much that I wanted to buy.

Manchester market will definitely be a annual trip for me I think.

What's in my bag.

Something that I am forever doing is swapping and changing my bag, and I always feel like I need a new bag, even if I don't. (that's a lie, a girl can never have too many bags).
Something I don't always change though is the contents of my bag. So here they are.

1. victoria's Secret body spray - Such a flirt.
This has to go everywhere with me! Like, I hate feeling like I smell in public, even when I know I don't. Without it I feel so lost.

2. Kleenex Tissues.
Winter has definitely arrived and with the winter season comes a lot of runny noses and tearey eyes from the wind. They're just an ideal item to carry around.

3. Soap and Glory Hand Food.
This is also something I have to carry around with me, I cannot bare the thought of being on a bus and someone sneezing and then touching the bell to get off and then me touching it after them. No thank you, thats not for me.

4. MAC Lipstick - Pickled Plum.
A few months a go me and my lovely boyfriend went to Liverpool for a little get away and I could not resist visiting the MAC shop there and bought myself the shade I have been addicted to for the last 2 months since. Pickled Plum.

5. Earphones.
Music is something that's a massive influence to me and I cannot leave the house without my earphones. Listening to the likes of Arctic Monkeys or Courteeners through them definitely makes journeys via public transport a lot more bearable.

6. Purse.
There's not really an explanation for this, other than it carries my money, receipts, cards and bus pass in it.

7.  Tub of Skittles.
Usually, I have a tub of mint chewing gum but, I fancied a change. That, and the fact that I love skittles! Especially the red and orange ones.

8. Notebook.
This little notebook is like a bit of a godsend for me! It has literally everything in it! From blog plans and ideas, to now very recent Christmas shopping lists, my weekend away packing list and basically everything.

What are your hand bag essentials? Leave a comment and let me know :)

Brow Perfection.

A very wise woman once said to me, "eyebrows are sisters, not twins". I have recently just realised how true her words were.
I've honestly never done anything with my brows because I've always been too cautious with doing so, until now.
Admittedly I don't shape, pluck or wax them but I don't feel the need to.
However, I do fill them in.
And to do that, I use this absolute treat.

It's the Barry M shape and define brow kit, to apply it I use the Real Techniques eyeliner brush.

Now, I've had this for a while but, tried it once and it turned into a complete disaster but, with time filling in my brows I've gotten a lot better at it and decided to try doing something new.
Can I just say, this is unreal! Well, for something that's on the high street and affordable it is anyway.
The real techniques eyeliner brush is also the best applicator for it, It gets all the areas it needs to and doesn't miss anything.

With these two products I really do achieve brow perfection.
