Evening Skin Care Routine.

I personally feel like my skin care routine is something that is a huge part of the day! However, I am not at all consistent with the use of products during it. I have a habit of changing the skincare products I use on a weekly basis, why? I honestly couldn't say.
That was all up until about 2/3 months ago anyway. In the past 2/3 months I've used the same products every night when doing that part of my routine. I've found that I am seeing a huge impact in my skin with the products I'm using and they are :

There are only 3 products there so it might not seem much, but honestly they all work together brilliantly and make a huge impact on the skin!

Step 1 - Removing Make up.
To remove my make up I use these Johnson's Make Up Be Gone Face Care Wipes. These are AMAZING. Like seriously. They smell really nice which is probably a strange thing for me to say but honestly, they do! They remove all make up straight away and leave my face feeling so fresh and clean!

Step 2 - Cleanse & Tone.
To cleanse and tone I use this Soap and Glory Total Drama Clean.
Now, it does say that it's a Make up remover and it is really good at missing whatever is left if I've not wiped it off my face beforehand. I have found though it's so good for cleansing and toning. It has extracts of natural Cucumber juice and peach fruit which means it has a really nice fresh and fruity smell. Very refreshing.

Step 3 - Moisturising.
I'm just going to put this out there... I LOVE this stuff!! It's the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Moisturiser.
I will admit, I love the whole of the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit range, but the moisturiser is definitely my favourite product. I use this twice a day and I have noticed a huge change in my skin for it!
It smells lovely and leaves my face feeling really smooth and nice.

And that everyone, is all for my evening skin care routine. I have generally pretty bad skin and since using these products, I've noticed my skin has cleared up so much!!

Outfit of the Night - Celebratory Date Night 20/08/15.

Yesterday, I got my GCSE Retake results for the English exam and it turns out I did a lot better than I originally anticipated.
I got 3Cs and a D which gave me an overall grade of a C which is all I need to get on to the course I want, it means I now have to go to college on the clearing days and enrol that way.

I knew it would be an important day and wanted to see knew I wanted to either celebrate or commiserate with the guy I've been seeing for the past few weeks so we'd planned to go out for food and to the cinema.
I knew it would be a good night whatever my grade was because well we really enjoy each others company and have a great night/day whatever it is we do! Which for me is the most important thing.

We met in Meadowhall and did a bit of a shop and had a look round before heading off to Nando's for some food. I am a huge chicken lover and Nando's for me is the perfect go-to-place!

After food, we went up to the cinema and decided on watching The Gift. Basically it was a psychological Thriller and in the end it happened to be really good! Was very jumpy in particular parts and in all I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will get round to doing a review for it at some point if you'd like to see one!

The outfit I went for was :

Classic Fred Perry polo shirt, Polka Dot Skinny Jeans, Patent Loafers and Satchel Bag.

I thought this outfit was super cute and smart yet, very casual and not overly dressy. Perfect look.

All in all we both had a really good night!!

I hope you guys got the grades you wanted if you were expecting any and well done!

Vinyl Love.

If there's one thing I'm passionate about more than anything, it's definitely my music. It has a massive influence on my life. Being from Sheffield definitely encourages my passion for music even more, this city is AMAZING for music and talent. We have the likes of Pulp,  Arctic Monkeys and so on. The fact I was born into the decade of the best music possible helps a lot too! The 90's. The decade of Britpop and the dance music. Just great in every possible way.

Anyway, over the past year or so, Vinyl's and Record Players have gradually started making their way back into fashion and it's now seen as cool to go out and buy a Vinyl and own a record player. Something I am very grateful to have!
For my birthday last year, my partner at the time bought me a Record player and honestly, it was one of the best gifts I'd received! Along with it, he also got me a very rare original Beatles Record.
From that, I obviously went on to develop my collection of records even more. And so far, after a year and a few months, I'm pretty proud of my collection I've got going on.

(current record collection).

As it stand I have the following Records.
Arctic Monkeys - Whatever people say that's what I'm not.
Favourite Worst Nightmare.
Humbug.
Suck It And See.
AM.

Jake Bugg - Jake Bugg.
Shangri La.

The Strypes - Snapshot.
Little Victories.

Jamie T - Magnolia Melancholia.
Carry On The Grudge.

The Last Shadow Puppets - The Age Of The Understatement.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - Chasing Yesterday.

The Vaccines  - What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?

The Stone Roses.

George Ezra - Wanted On Voyage.

Royal Blood.

Catfish and the Bottlemen - The Balcony.

Kasabian - Velociraptor!
West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum.

The Beatles.

Abba - The Greatest Hits Volume 2.

And that's it. They're all brilliant albums and there are so many more records that I want to purchase.
I can't wait to add more to the collection.

Mini Essence Makeup Haul.

Considering today was not only exam results day but was payday for me! (my favourite day of every month may I add)
I thought what better thing to do, then go on a little bit of a shop. And that is all it was too! Sadly I'm saving up for a holiday with my friend to Greece next year so spending is at an all time minimum!

Anyway, i headed off into town and went to a shop there called Wilkinson's.
It's basically just a shop here in the UK which sells everything and anything. If there's anything that you need, chances are Wilkinson's have it, at such reasonable prices too!

As soon as I walked into the store I headed straight to the beauty section of the store. The Essence counter happened to catch my eye with it's stunning display of eye catching variety of Nail varnish shades.

The first items I picked up were these nail varnishes, They're such pretty colours and they claim to be scented also. I was reluctant at first when I read that they're scented BUT I got them and will try them out. Even if they're not, the colours are super cute and an absolute bargain at £1 each!
(Shades : 06 - Oh lolli lollipop.
08 - Like Love Birds.
06 - Soda pop and Candy shop.)

I then looked further on and saw the lip area of the stand and can I just say, the choice of lipstick shades and lip gloss they have, I was like a kid in a sweet shop! My eyes were all over the place! After many minutes of deliberation, I finally decided on these two perfect shades. I also bought two lip liners. The lipsticks were £2.30 each and the lip liners came in at £1 each.

The shades of the lip liners are ; Wish Me A Rose and Cute Pink.
The light pink lipstick - Get The Look.
Dark Pink - Blush My Lips.

After looking at those I remembered I needed a new Brow pencil, now I must mention beforehand that when it comes to my eyebrows, I am VERY set in my ways with them. In 20 years i have never plucked, threaded or waxed them which some people are shocked by, they're not too overgrown and they're a perfect shape, the most I do with them is fill them in because they are quite gappy.
So, I picked up a brow pencil that has a brush on the lid and that came in at a brilliant £1.50
I then also spotted a brow and lash gel, now recently I've heard a lot of really good reviews about these so thought for the sake of £2 why not try some and see how it is?
For a while now I've been on the hunt for just a normal brow brush and haven't been able to find one anywhere, until today that is! I't a 2-in-1 brow and lash brush so I'm killing two birds with one stone. Perfect. This came in at only £1.80.

Overall I'm more than happy with today's purchases and I cannot wait to try them out and see what they're like!

Thank you so much for reading today :)

Exam Results Stess.

One of the main things I absolutely hate about exams, is not only the stress and constant revising on the run up to each exam, but also the long wait for the results day.

For me, and I'm sure many of you, it's results day TOMORROW! I think it would be pretty fair to say I am dreading it.

Basically last year, I decided to go back to college to study my Maths and English again at GCSE Level because lets just say in school, I didn't get the best grades I could have. So, I went back to college to re-take them and they're the results I'm getting back tomorrow.
I'm really, really hoping I've done well and passed. People keep saying "you did your best and that's all you can do" and they're right, I did do my best, but will my best secure my place on to the course and onto the career path I've wanted to walk down all my life? Possibly.

A dream career I've always wanted is to work in the Forensic/Criminology field.
It's something I've always been fascinated by and loved from being a young girl, i'd spend hours on end watching the Real Crime channel on TV, completely intrigued and fascinated by the whole process of what the investigators actually do.
During school I was very confused as to what career path I wanted to go down I went from wanting to be a Forensic Investigator to then becoming a Midwife and basically didn't have a clue, my grades estimated grades weren't the best and i guess towards the end of Year 11 I gave up all hope of going to University to become an Investigator or Criminologist. Which looking back now, is the worst thing i ever did because it should have been something that motivated me and instead it had the opposite effect.

It weren't till I left school and entered the real world and tried a few jobs, till i actually realised that forensics and criminology was something that I genuinely wanted to do. And that is when I went back to college to hopefully start over again.
Depending on tomorrows grades, I will HOPEFULLY be starting a Science with Forensics Level 3 course at my local college in September. This is honestly something that I do really want and I am so scared in case I've messed everything up again.

Fingers crossed I haven't! And, to anyone else that's collecting exam results tomorrow or soon, I wish you the best of luck!! :)

Is There a Certain Pressure Being A Blogger?

Blogging is something that I'm completely new to. It's something I've never done before and by doing this I am stepping way out of my comfort zone and it's something I've only been doing for a few days. Which some cold argue the point "you can't comment you've only just started out" which they would be right, but before I started up my own blog, I read others from other people to get hints and tips.
Something I've found now I've started my own is, I personally feel like there is a tiny bit of pressure on being the best and having the resources to compete alongside others. Now I don't know if that's general nerves or personal feelings or if others feel the same.

As I previously mentioned, my blog is something that is a working progress and something I am working towards. It's something that I understand will be a slow process but I'm more than willing to put in the work and effort to making it the best I possibly can!

I genuinely hope that any of you that happen to stumble across my blog, do like it and enjoy all posts. That's all I'm concerned about, before I started my own blog, i read many others on a regular basis and I found they did truly help me and gave me so many tips and inspiration and I hope that I can someday do the same for anyone that visits my page also :).

I don't think there is generally any pressure to being a blogger unless you sort of put some on yourself (which is what I've done). I'm sure this is something that will soon vanish once I've settled and got my blog to how I want it to be and perfect for me.

Thank you so much for reading :)

Outfit Of The Day - Black & White.

Today, I did something I don't do on a regular basis, Usually my outfits do match, but not as much as today, as it turned out, I LOVED my outfit for today! It was very Rock 'n' Roll inspired.

Whilst out shopping a few days ago, I came across some Black and White polka dot skinny jeans and it was honestly "love at first sight" I knew I needed to buy them! My first thought other than them being love at first sight was, these are definitely the kind of Skinny Jeans you'd see Miles Kane or Alex Turner wear because, well, they're cool enough to wear something like that (both are my loves).
I then went to the shoes and saw the most perfect Brogues. I should mention I've been on the hunt for some Brogues and Loafers for so long now! I still am looking for some loafers but I saw the brogues and again, knew I needed them in my life.
They're like a classic brogue but with a slight heel at the back, what I loved about them the most was I've not seen any like that before, they're so different. So for me, they were a must buy.

A closer look at both jeans and brogues.

Along with my Polka Dot skinny jeans and heeled brogues, I wore a normal Cami Vest which I got from Primark, My Leather look jacket and finished the whole outfit off with my Black and White River Island satchel.

Where I Purchased All Items
Cami Vest - Primark - £6.
Leather Look Jacket - H&M - £25.
Polka Dot Skinny Jeans - George at ASDA - £14.
Brogues - George at ASDA - £16.
Black and White Satchel Bag - River Island - £30.

Lipstick Love.

When I first started off using Makeup on a daily basis, my lips were always something I left alone. I never did anything to them other than put on a little bit of lip balm. Up until a few months ago, I never experimented with makeup and my look and it's now only recently that I started to experiment with different shades of lipstick to wear.
I have Olive Skin, and so was always somewhat scared of wearing lipstick, I remember being really young and finding my mums BRIGHT Red lipstick and I tried it on and it looked horrendous (now i know that's because as a 4 year old child, my makeup applying skills weren't great!)
anyway, from then on I was scared of trying certain shades, until I went and got the "true match" foundation test they do in BOOTS (it's basically a high street drug store) and the woman gave me a card with the lipstick shades and to my honest surprise, they were mostly bright colours and a few nudes.
With this, I then went on a crazy lipstick spending spree.

These are my favourites that i picked up and the ones that I use on a regular basis :)

And they are, MAC Milan Mode, Chatterbox and Creme Cup. They were all £15.50.

Milan Mode is the perfect shade of dark-ish pink, and has a gorgeous shimmer to it. This is mainly worn when I'm going out for food or drinks, it's not too much but also not too subtle.

Chatterbox was the shade i was most worried about purchasing and wearing, but actually, when it's on, it looks so natural and even though it's visible to see that you have it on, it's not too what shall we say? "In your face" it's perfect.

Creme Cup for me, it THE perfect nude. I love this so much, if I'm going for a basic, natural makeup look, to add a little bit of colour to my lips I just add this and it sets the complete look off perfectly.

Those are the 3 shades I use the most and I am loving them. I have got a few other shades in mind that I would like to go and buy but I'll have to wait until pay day to purchase them.

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed it :)
