Escaping the room.

If there is one thing I hate more than anything it's being in a dark place and feeling like something will unexpectedly jump out at me.
Escape the room carried all that along with it.

All 8 of us headed off into the city centre and went to escape the room.

Getting to the room itself was like a maze, long, cold corridors and staircases.

Once we finally got to where we needed to, we had to take part in the sign in process and read the declaration they had. You know, the usual sort of stuff when taking part in an activity. We were ready to try and escape from Alcatraz.

After this is when our experience truly started!

All 8 of us were given a specific role which we needed to undertake once locked inside the room, following each role would ensure we got out, or so we thought anyway.

Once the specific roles had been handed out to us, we headed off into the room. We were all lead in a line into the dimly lit room.

I must point out that one of my biggest fears is that of the unknown. If I don't know what's going to happen and when I freak out massively. Let me just tell you that is exactly what I did.

Going into this very Naively I thought you was given an unlimited amount of time to escape and we could face being locked in there for good, this of course was not the case at all as they in fact gave us 45 minutes as a team and 5 extra minutes for two members of the team to go back in and try and solve it from where we had left of as a team. Sadly, we came so close yet so far from escaping.

All in all, we had an amazing experience and all LOVED it.

I would recommend you guys to go down and check it out! It's definitely something I won't forget and I cannot wait to go back and try to break free from the other rooms they have on offer for you to try and escape from.

If you're interested in having a look at what they offer go and check them
